Mitsui Fudosan and MaaS Global Announce Strategic Partnership to Incorporate Mobility as a Service Platform Whim Into Urban Development in Japan
Mitsui Fudosan invests in MaaS Global, seeking speedy product launch in Japan later in 2019.
Helsinki, Finland/Tokyo, Japan – April 25th, 2019 – MaaS Global and leading global real estate company Mitsui Fudosan announced their strategic partnership to incorporate MaaS Global’s ‘Mobility as a Service’ platform Whim into urban development in Japan in 2019. With over four million trips made since its launch in Europe in November 2017, Whim is the first all-inclusive MaaS solution commercially available on the market. The parties plan to collaborate with local transport service providers (TSP’s) and to conduct a proof of concept in the Greater Tokyo area in 2019 and seek to accelerate the collaborative relationships.
